Wouldn’t an update to the American Club for Men (and Women) party make sense?

The first thing an amateur politico does is choose a name that will create derision and turn people off.
Good luck with making the Whigs relevant.

First suggestion is another name. Whig?
To: Lazamataz
Baaaad name choice.
Example:
“I’m a member of the Whig Party.”
“Odd, you don’t look like a Whigger.”

I thought the idea was to call the present-day Republican Party the Whigs to imply that they were on the way out, just like the Whigs. There actually is a group out there already that calls itself the
Modern Whig Party.
And then there was the True Whig Party of Liberia: "Founded in 1869, the party dominated Liberian politics from 1878 until 1980 to the extent that the country was virtually a one-party state, although opposition parties were never outlawed." [Wikipedia]

Hate to break it to ya, Laz, but we’re beyond partisan politics at this point. The fix isn’t going to include voting, unless it’s from the rooftops.

I have been reading about the Whigs. Do you think Trump falls into the common sense side of the Whig party philosophy?
