Colorado-based Bishop Elaine J. W. Stanovsky, who handled the complaint against Talbert, said the settlement showed Methodists can work together on the issue.

"The conflicted parties came together, prayerfully listened to one another, challenged one another, and searched for God's guidance for themselves and for the church."

"Searched for God's guidance"? Um. Genesis 19, Judges 19, Isaiah 5:20, Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, Revelation 21:8....those words of God should suffice.

Doesn’t look to me like there was any punishment or even a slap on the wrist. I guess “just resolution” is just that, a resolution in name only.

I was raised Methodist; that denomination has been apostate for a very long time. They ordain women, for example - that unscriptural doctrine leads to more.

I remember the Church sending me around with an orange milk carton to collect for UNICEF as a kid.

Couldn’t be more obvious that it’s just a front for new world order.
