Not only is this comment extremely racist, making false assumptions about the African-American community, it illustrates a type of proabortion thinking that focuses on eliminating problems by eliminating human beings.
This comment is about eight years old. Also, Bill Bennett is now deceased.

I am aware of this. The point of “Clinic Quotes” is not how old the quotes are, it’s the fact “they said it”.

The truth is the truth... What was said was true, borne out by statistics. Not supporting abortion in any form for any reason BTW.

Nothing is “borne out by statistics” any more than something would be borne out by lies and damned lies—so it is not the truth. All that would result from aborting black babies on that scale (genocide) is divine wrath on the USA—and that’s coming besides due to the amount of abortion herein perpetuated. It’s just as likely that committing such a genocide would cause the crime rate to go up.
Babies born into non-families under welfare squalor do have higher risk of entering a criminal lifestyle—and that is the problem to fix, rather than slaying the innocent baby and allowing the guilty progenitor to live.
Abortion has been one of those progressive-liberal one-size-fits-all solutions.

Didn’t I say I didn’t support abortion for any reason? The fact is that 70 to 80 percent of blacks are born without an involved father.
It is true it would reduce crime.
That doesn’t justify abortion one iota. It might justify making parents be responsible for their own kids’ crimes, or else.
Since you throw insults in response to being pulled up about “statistics (bearing) that (what?) out”, I have to wonder about that, especially since you called Bennett’s statement “the truth”.

I stand by my assertion that the crime rate would go up “statistically” if all black fetuses were massacred by abortion.
