For the record, all of these tapes other than the original 3M and one made by Gorilla are crap. A few years ago I had to conduct tests on all of them and that’s what was found.

You got that right. Wifey bought some so-called 'duct tape' at a bargain store some time back, and the stuff is just junk. Used it to seal a cardboard box and half an hour later, it had all fallen off.

I remember back in the day, that 3M duct tape was so sticky, you didn't want to get it on your hands. That stuff would fix dang near anything.
