Watching local coverage of Detective Wenjian Liu's funeral. NBC reporter mentioned dozen of officers in front of the church turned their backs when De Blasio spoke but further down the road there were hundreds who turned their back.

I am no fan of the current state of policing in America, but the police are slowly winning me back over.
I wish that they had turned their backs full force, as they did for the first police officer. The second police officer deserves the same statement being made. Both of these officers died partially because of this mayor’s anti-police stance, and both officers’ funerals should have been fair ground for the officers showing their feelings.
If they feel it’s time to stop after the funerals, as they’ve made their statements, I have no problem with that either.

I think this needs to expand beyond police officers. Whenever de Blasio makes a public appearance of any kind, ordinary citizens in attendance should turn their backs as well.

Jet Blue allowed police officers, former & current, plus a spouse/sigificant other, to fly free to these 2 police officers’ funerals too. Of course libs’ heads were exploding & they all said they were boycotting Jet Blue because ‘they didn’t fly “people of color” free to Garner or Brown’s funerals’. Idiots. Jet Blue probably gained some very loyal customers through allowing officers to fly to the funerals free of charge.
The police union should make a statement announcing that they will no longer support Democrat candidates for office. Watch the SHTF nationwide with that statement.

Sorry, no sale! DeBlabla does’t have the balls to go up against the cop unions. If he tried, all the PE unions in the city would bring it to a complete standstill. When my sister lived there Local 32B of the Doorman’s Union went on strike and the Sanitation workers refused to pick up trash for all the apartment buildings.The Doormen got what they wanted in a week! I am betting that the unions will be behind kicking him out of office.
Where there was once a reasonable degree of unity and cooperation, there is now bitterness, distrust and dissension.
Deblasio is just like his leader Obama, spreading trouble with every move.
This is a very orderly, quiet protest. De Blasio should worry what could happen if he keeps up his defiant, destructive actions against civilized society.
