Florida State Seminoles players returned from the Rose Bowl to find their cars keyed and their tires slashed.
The Florida State Seminoles carried a 29-game win streak into the Rose Bowl match up against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks on Thursday. The game serving as a semi-final match up for the first ever College Football Playoff.
The defending national champion Seminoles felt disprespected to be seeded despite and undefeated 2014 regular season. That ranking looked fair after Oregon handily defeated the Seminoles in the Rose Bowl, 59-20.
It was an embarrassing loss for the Seminoles, but an impressive victory for the Ducks.
As for Florida State fans and faithful, they took the loss rather harshly. When the Seminoles returned home, they found their cars had been vandalized.
Freshman linebacker Anthony Valdes tweeted about the condition in which they found their cars.
Winning a national championship in college football is incredibly difficult, and repeating is even harder. It is pretty ridiculous for the fans to lose their minds and act out like a bunch of spoiled brats after things dont go their way.
It wasnt like they were Oklahoma losing to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl years ago. There is no shame in losing to Oregon, a school that has been a perennial contender and nearly defeated the Auburn Tigers several years ago for a national championship during Cam Newtons college days.
But as weve all seen on Twitter, the Florida State fans arent always the most reasonable and logic fans so maybe this is on me for being shocked by this behavior.
29 game winning streak in the ACC. I think it’s been shown to be a bit of a house of cards. Other than Ga Tech no one other than FSU strikes fear in anyone from the ACC.
If Ga Tech played them tomorrow they’d beat them by 2 TD’s.
Exactly. Its either 29 rose bowls or no loss in three years.
I don’t think even Alabama would go there.

What do you expect? The adored thugs got whupped.
This wouldn’t surprise me if it was LSU, OSU, or some other huge fan bases (sans Bama, because Phyllis from Mulga wouldn’t stand for it).
But FSU? They really don’t have many fans. I sort of wonder if maybe the vandalism wasn’t more in retaliation for the team running roughshod over the University and town the past two years, than for losing a game. JMO of course.
I wish they’d dump the Indian tune that accompanies the tomahawk chops. It was annoying the first hundred times I heard it after which putting the TV on mute seemed the only way to avoid it.
You take the one on the left. I’ll take the one on the right. She looks like she’s concealing something. Somewhere. I’ll find it.
Am I missing something here?
Does anyone actually think these guys drove their cars from Florida to Pasadena? Or that they all rented cars at LAX?
The cars vandalized were in Trailerhassee. Not sure how you missed that.
OK, saw it. thanks. My bad
No. I’m not a baseball fan.
Those poor girls must be scholarship students, both in worn-out, cut-off blue jeans.
And one is holding up her britches with a piece of rope for a belt, while the other has no belt.
Thank you for bringing their plight to our attention, VT.
If they are foreign exchange students, I would put them up in my home,
until I drop dead from a massive heart attack.
“Stanford Indians is never okay.”
Well, Stanford WAS the Indians until nascent political correctness decided it was offensive to the Indians who were screaming they wanted Alcatraz back. That was a California protest movement back in the day.

I don’t know. Clemson and VA Tech aren’t too shabby.
“Jameis Winston held on to crab legs better than that football in the Rose Bowl.” - h/t Ben Maller
I see a iPhone photo of a famous quarterback in the future for the girl on the left!
Glad I’m not the only one who made this observation.
At USC here in Columbia there was (and pretty sure still is) an employee that thought a VIP parking slot belonged to him. He somehow parked there and no one said anything.
One day, a real VIP with a nice Mercedes parked in “his” spot. He keyed the car. All he had to pay was damages and nothing else happened to him.
He’s done all kinds of other whack nut things that would get me or any other normal person fired at a minimum. For some reason, the guy is untouchable. No big time relations, no big time money to come from, little oddball weird guy.
It follows...the ‘Noles had a thug, criminal, entitled, protected QB to lead them.
