Sometimes a young person suffers adult onset schizophrenia. It’s frightening and can be ruinous to both client and family.
Just when a parent thinks their work being primary caregiver is done, a whole new category of problems surface.
In many cases, the right medication plus spoken therapy allows for a relatively normal life to be resumed and maintained.
The biologic change has to be seen and somewhat understood first.

I read somewhere today that he had stopped taking his medication.
