She figured out which side the gas “door” was on but apparently couldn’t figure out how to park so that side was next to the pump. She might have been trying all night had not the other car pulled in and left her only the “correct” approach choice to use.

I actually saw this kind of thing happen while getting gas about a year ago. I could not believe the woman was stupid and thinking when the gas pumps were on the other side of her car every thing would be ok.
