I'm watching the "Breaking Bad" marathon now and half the enjoyment is seeing the "Better Call Saul" commercials for that show that starts in February. Anyway, since the locale is the Southwest, I am wondering if there will be a Fast & Furious storyline. Basically ATF agents buying guns from local dealers and making sure they are purchased by the Mexican cartel. It's almost natural that there would be a Saul Goodman connection there. Perhaps he represents a gun dealer who was framed by the feds but the dealer secretly taped conversations with the ATF agent showing the latter encouraged the sale of the weapons into the wrong hands. That actually did happen.
If you can think of other possible story lines, then post them but I think Fast & Furious is a natural.
How timely. I just binge watched 5 seasons of Breaking Bad over the holiday.
Commercial just showed purchase for 50% off World’s Greatest Lawyer coffee mug.
I just found out that Saul Goodman had his dayglo green shirt cleaned at Dell’s. Hey, will there be a website that has all these Saul Goodman promos?
Since it is a prequel, I doubt Fast and Furious will be involved.
It starts as he is still an Irish Catholic lawyer, before he even changes name to Saul.
Yeah, but it was chipped.
This was followed by a personal injury law firm putting up a bill board saying "do not call Saul":
Can’t wait for better call Saul!
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) [excerpted] - Digital billboards with a mysterious message referencing a popular Breaking Bad character were placed by an Albuquerque law firm. Attorneys with the personal injury law firm Revo-Smith revealed they were responsible for the Do Not Call Saul billboards placed on Interstate 25 and Lomas Blvd. NE and San Mateo Blvd. NE and Montgomery Blvd. NE.
What we came up with was that Saul Goodman was not a professional attorney and that in some ways, he, as a fictional character, gave other attorneys a bad name, said attorney Terrence Revo.
The firm said Goodman is the personification of an unprofessional and unethical attorney.
And since it is a comedy show, we must stick to the EXACT historical facts?
Yeah, like that NEVER happens.
Haha. That’s great. Saul was one of my favorite characters on BB. I always wanted more of him on the show. Looking forward to this. Does anyone know if Vince Gilligan is writing and/or directing?
Hopefully as much fun as James Garner in the "Rockford Files." Except Rockford was honest.
I binge watched Breaking Bad at the end of the Summer. I was totally addicted to it.
If by some miracle, F & F were mentioned...better call Sharpton. (to have a protest)
Probably not since this show is supposed to take place before BB and BB starts in 2008.
