Bill Cosby has refused to address the scores of rape allegations that have been hurled at him in recent months, but that doesn't mean he isn't working to clear his name.
The comedian is allegedly paying private investigators six-figure fees to dig up dirt on the more than two dozen women who have come forward to accuse him of rape, according to a report in the New York Post.
A source told the paper that Cosby has hired a Glendale, California, firm to discredit his many alleged victims' stories.

One of my dad's favorite shows was "You Bet Your Life." It was Groucho and his straight man announcer, George Fenneman. Funny show. Groucho was smarter than 99% of his contestants...and more SMART ALLECK than 100% of his contestants.
OCCASIONALLY, one of the contestants would get to him and make him laugh. It didn't happen often but it did happen.

Although one of the women off his TV show filed a police report in 2000, the one who really stood her ground was the director of operations for the women's basketball program at Temple University.
"Constand and Bill Cosby became friends while she was at Temple, where Cosby is a familiar presence, particularly around the athletic department. He's a member of the Temple Athletics Hall of Fame, having been on the football and track & field teams during his time at the school in the 1960s, and as recently as a few weeks ago he was helping raise money for the gymnastics team.
Constand went to Cosby's home for dinner parties, or sometimes for dinner just between the two of them. They would talk about basketball, her career, other job opportunities, even her spiritual beliefs. In court filings, both sides agree to that. Then, in January 2004, Cosby invited Constand, 30, over to his Cheltenham home. He told her he wanted to "offer her assistance in her pursuit of a different career," according to her lawsuit. She got there about 9 p.m.
What happened next, according to Constant, is outlined in her suit: Constand told Cosby she "was feeling stressed about making her career decision." He offered her three blue pills, calling them herbal medication, and said they would help her relax. When Constand asked if she needed to take all three, Cosby said yes. She took them and started to shake; she felt dizzy and weak. Her limbs went slack and she felt barely conscious."

He was funny in movies, as a young man.
But early in their careers, Groucho and his two brothers would hire a prostitute and then they would share her, take turns with her. That’s at least as creepy as a David Letterman.
And I thought he was a creepy host on “You Bet Your Life”.
If Cosby did the things he’s accused of, well, he’s worse than a creep.

If he were really a rapist Hollyweird would have gotten whiff of it a long time ago. If ALL those women were raped, wouldn't you THINK that the news MIGHT have leaked out sometime, somewhere? Most women who are RAPED won't be "bought off." They want their rapist's BLOOD.
Despite what is being said by any/everyone, we won't ever know the true story.
Those who believe the army of women, fine. Rape.
Those who don't (consensual sex) will be excoriated by those who believe all the women.
The complaining women aren't going to get a penny when all is said and done. The attorneys will get it all.

Arnold Schwarzenegger used to be notoriously litigious back in the 1980’s and 90s. He would do anything to stop someone from “telling lies” about him. Extremely protective of what he considered his Brand or social standing. Cosby is beyond the veil of protection now. The more these incidents are discussed, the worse it is for what remains of his image. A damning momentum has been established, and he remains stuck, locked into a Spin Cycle.
Apparently.
