The "guy" who appears for several minutes poised to jump in at the first opportunity and help him subdue the thief - but never quite makes it - ought to be thoroughly ashamed of himself.

That would be Dave the Barbarian I would guess that Fang and Candy were not around to help him. :)

He seemed almost within arms length for the duration of the event but just couldn’t pull the trigger, and the situation could have turned nasty for his boss.
