Take a typical man like myself, 6' 180 lbs. with a small "dunlap."
If I take public transportation, a "man spread," is necessary. Why? To air the family jewels, relax for the dunlap, and to keep "undesirables" from getting too close to me.

I don't know about that. They used to try to make a crime out of "male gaze," ie a man looking at a woman in public. In the Old South it actually was a crime--for black people. They called it "eyeball rape" and it might get a fellow lynched. Nice the left wing feminazis would adopt an old racist tactic to suppress certain groups. As for "man spread," I suspect it is related to repressed sexual feelings among any women who might be flustered by it.

These are the same people who want me to put the seat down when I’m done peeing. It ain’t gonna happen. When are women going to lift the seat when they’re done peeing.
A sister in law had a cutsie sign over her toilet. Something about men lowering the seat when done. Hell I would raise it when I just went in to wash my hands or after a deuce.

I think the manspreaders should also wear kilts, just to make things more interesting.
