Police said Jaycee Chan and [Taiwan movie star] Ko Kai tested positive for marijuana and admitted using the drug, and that 100 grams of it were taken from Jaycee Chan's home. [In past years Jackie Chan has effusively praised the Communist Party and called America the most corrupt nation in the world]

I wonder if he still prefers China?
I used to love Jackie’s movies, then I found out what he thought about America. I’ve never watched another.
I guess he will donate to the organ banks.
Chan lives well in China. He is among the select elitists and would live well anywhere he goes but “there is no place like home” and he has his ego stroked in China more than he would anywhere else. Chan knows that in the order of things in China, he is among the more equal animals so I doubt he will do anything but praise the government, miscreant son or not.
Should have stuck to Drunken Monkey style.
Don’t forget that if he used his status to criticize the commies, he would soon find himself in a world of hurt. He is doing what most any person would do and capitalize on his assets.
I cannot think of any reason as to why I should care about the troubles of the son of a chinese actor, who has publicly excoriated the decadent US and spoke favorably of a Chi-Com country, all the while he was pocketing the money he was paid to act (questionably) in a movie with a loudmouthed black comedian who has as little or less talent than he does.
Well, he got corrupted in America, no doubt.
It’s good to be a member of the elite in a communist country.
That statement of his put an immediate end to his movies in this house. Not that my little ban will cause him any worries. Oh, well, can’t say I’m too worried about his criminal druggie son so we’re even.
Jackie Chan’s son was arrested 4 months ago.
My first thought...
After 4 months of negotiations, Jackie decided he could no longer afford to be a “friend” of the Communist Party.
And he thinks America is corrupt?
Same here. Jackie Chan is not the play list here.
Care to share?
That’s crazy... it just gets worse and worse!
Here’s my favorite part:
“During an awards ceremony in Beijing in April 2011, Jackie stated that he would be donating half his money to charity when he dies, instead of to his son.”
That Wikipedia entry is a true gem.
