I have watched Alan Colmes decline since he defended O.J. Simpson in 1996. How is that possible you ask?

Alan wheeled his way from illogical radio leftist toadie to a gig opposite of Hannity on Fox News. A soulless hapless fool gratuitously begging for approval from his leftist administration superiors feeding him his talking points.

Then he was pulled, by who I'm not sure - the left I guess for being so ineffective. ...back to radio

So effective on Hannity, no new shows picked him up on any MSM outlet. ...interesting. ouch.

Today on Fox News however, Alan was a vile seething snake with crazy eyes selling the "no connection between protests and cop killings". Aggressive and rude - obsessively.

The obvious hypocrisy regarding his views in contrast to his bold support of the lefts attempt to connect the tea party to every shooting in the U.S. was nauseating.

Alan is possessed and I'm not kidding. Watching him today set me back in my chair.

Fox must keep giving him air time. He makes the right's argument every time.

However, my crystal ball tells me as soon as the left tally's the damage he's doing to them (not soon I hope), he'll be disappeared from the national airwaves.

I like to listen to Colmes radio show once in a while. When he gets too high on his ‘Let Obama be Obama!” horse, I change stations. Alan would have made a good bartender, he has an enormous amount of patience with his callers. Sometimes the callers just bulldoze right over him and momentarily commandeer his show, while Alan allows it. They holler at him, tell him to shut up, and treat him like an unwanted Substitute Teacher. Then other times I appreciate his insight and that he knows how to interview people.

While trying to find a report of him being struck at some industry dinner by a leftist, I came across a 2006 satire from The Onion titled "Alan Colmes' Death Goes Unreported On Hannity & Colmes".

Colmes simply has a role to play, and he plays it well. He is an actor, part of a good cop bad cop routine for television ratings. I believe his display as a liberal is real, but do we honestly know what political views are held by the so called conservative talking heads on FNC? Alysin Camerotta had a conservative persona on Fox but now seems perfectly at home on CNN.
