Debbie Davis was driving along a busy roadway in Kansas City when she saw something that made her slow down.

Doggie ping.
He was just apologizing for shooting their cousins
I thought I would see a Manneken Pis.
On the side of the road was an empty police motorcycle; the officer, sitting in the grass, with two dogs.
The policeman could have simply called the two stray dogs in and left it at that. Knowing this, Davis was completely touched by his willingness to go above and beyond for the two dogs, which were later identified as having escaped from a yard the night before. Davis tells Fox4kc News:
The police officer, ever humble, did not wish to go public with his name. But the Kanas City Police Department is sure proud of him as they reposted the picture of him patiently waiting for the Humane Society to pick up the dogs.

Thanks. It’s good that you didn’t imply that he was doing it with two dogs by the side of the road. :-)
Shooting blacks with their hands up?????
Good job by him. You rarely ever hear of positive LEO stories.
Most of the time, when you read of stories involving police and dogs, the dogs are being shot.
Being a bit cheeky...it’d be interesting to know what many are thinking of before they click through...;^)
Merry Christmas!
Hey look, a story about 80% of cops you never hear.
“Debbie Davis was driving along a busy roadway in Kansas City”
Why was Debbie driving along a busy roadway in Kansas City?
Yes, absolutely correct...
Nice to see a good post regarding the cops instead of the usual and customary slime-ball MSM LE coverage.
Click on my name to see my dogs. They're all from 'the side of the road.'
Maybe she likes roadways that are busy vs. roadways that are lazy?
>>>Most of the time, when you read of stories involving police and dogs, the dogs are being shot.<<<<<
Those are the ones that make headlines. There are 99999 stories of a cop rubbing a pooch on the head or helping one out of the street for every one getting shot. Those are not newsworthy.
Good looking bunch.
When I saw the headline, I figured it had something to do with his short bald partner, Officer Johnson.
Just like you figured it would. :-)
All mine came from the streets.
Just plain ole good boys.
They are stupid mutts but loyal to no end.
Loved it. I respect and love my dog.
He’s a good cop, and he represents the vast majority of them.
