Was Manzoomer on the field? I never noticed. He’s such a little fellar.
Marvin Lewis was right. He’s a midget.
Browns have a great tradition of relieving the anxiety of overrated college quarterbacks who are squirming in the green room by drafting them late in the first round. Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel......Who’s next?
Beyond that, the whole team was flat after a demoralizing loss last week and an injury-riddled defense that is about half the practice squad. Coaching was lackluster all around.
Browns are out for this year, maybe can salvage an 8-8 season.
This was covered in so much more intelligent detail at: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3237131/posts
And it was LIVE...

When Joe Buck asked Hall of Famer Troy Aikmen about Johnny Football’s debut, he basically said that when he compared to his first game as a rookie, Johnny Football looked pretty good!
Good thing Cleveland fans are forgiving.
The Heisman curse strikes again.
One first starting game does not make an NFL QB overnight.
Not sure if Manziel has the NFL goods but he needs time to develop. Probably a smart idea to start him even this late in the year. Its not like Cleveland was going far anyway this season.
There have been quite a few NFL QB’s under 6 feet tall.-
Since the the 1960’s (here are a few)
Joe Barnes, Chicago Bears 1974
Bob Berry, Minnesota Vikings 1965-67 & 1973-75, Atlanta Falcons 1968-72
Tom Dimitroff, Boston Patriots 1960
Armanti Edwards, Carolina Pathers 2010-present
Sam Etcheverry, St Louis Cardinals 1961-62
Pat Haden, LA Rams 1976-81
Edd Hargett, New Orleans Saints 1969-72 Houston Oilers 1973
Sonny Jurgensen, Philadelphia Eagles 1957-63, Washington Redskins 1964-74
Sean Payton, Chicago Bears 1987
Seneca Wallace, Seattle Seahawks 2005-09, Cleveland Browns, 2010-11, Green Bay Packers 2013
Russell Wilson Seattle Seahawks 2012-present
Gary Wood, New York Giants 1964-1966 & 1968-1969, New Orleans Saints 1967
The best tweet I ever saw about manziel was “Johnny Manziel, the Justin Beiber of the NFL”
Nowhere to go but up from here. Can’t get any worse. (Can it?)
I probably like Johnny Clipboard less than anyone but this will be his worst performance in all likelihood. The offense is still geared toward Hoyer, these first teamers have practiced a lot more with Hoyer.
The Browns defense didn’t show up either.
Same league as Mike Sam.
Johnny Foosball
Every LSU fan knows Johnny is uncomfortable making plays when forced to the right. LSU was the only team that could contain him in college.
JM was forced into risk taking from the first series for the rest of the game.
No quarterback in football, pocket or otherwise, would have succeeded in this game with no line containment, and a penalized porus defense on the field for much of the game.
Why all the complaints about this one QB leading the Cleveland Browns? It’s not like they’ve ever been to a Super Bowl.
I just think of the Browns like I do the Chicago Cubs - Many hoping, but no going.
