Rest in peace. Pretty lady.
RIP.
She was hot when I was in high school in the 1960s.
Pretty lady, and classy is how I recall her. She had a rough time with Gary Collins her husband being an alcoholic.
I would have expected Mary Tyler Moore to have gone first, this is someone who doesn’t seem to have really smiled in public since around 1988.
Whe was beautiful.
75 is still young...

I am beginning to feel old.
I remember when she was named Miss America. In fact we were all watching the contest.
I will say she was one of the most attractive ever.
RIP
Oh what a looker!
We Boomers owe a great debt to all those young beauties from the 1950’s to the seventies who filled the ever growing number of roles on TV shows.
I remember watching her on Different Strokes, playing Sam’s mother Maggie(Dixie Carter played Maggie first) such a beautiful lady..RIP
I liked her.
RIP
And she was a Chi Omega, in the Omega Chapter. RIP.
One little oddity I recall her in was in the pilot episode of “The Girl from UNCLE,” with Norman Fell as her co-star. The two of them were really good in their roles, and it aired as an episode of “The Man from UNCLE.” But, they were replaced by Stephanie Powers and Neil Harrison in the resulting series, and it turned out to be a real stinker of a show. I always thought that if the producers stuck with Mobley/Fell and the original concept of pretty girl spy and older spy expert showing her the ropes, it might have actually clicked.
That poor woman suffered a great deal in her last few years. Her husband, Gary Collins, became an alcoholic, got arrested several times for DUI. This was all happening while she was battling breast cancer. She suffered from Crohn’s Disease too.
A true Southern Lady. RIP.
RIP to a beautiful Southern lady who performed with Elvis and was one of Hollywood’s token Republicans.
