Woman alleges Cosby raped her -- and other Playboy bunnies

(CNN) -- By the late 1960s, Bill Cosby was a married man well on his way to having five children, not to mention a landmark career in stand-up comedy, television and beyond.

He was also no stranger to Playboy.

Now that connection is among those coming back to him, as more and more women -- at least 21, by CNN's count -- accuse him of sexual misconduct. Many of them claim the legendary comedian drugged and raped them.

Actually it seems that this story was out there for a while in 2005 and 2006 with 14 accusers and his settling out of court with one, with sprinklings of articles going back to the late 1990s, but it never really broke out until recently.

I’ve read he was giving them Quaaludes. Mix Quaaludes with alcohol and you are out.

I don't recall Bill Cosby ever being convicted. Can you enlighten the rest of us? The basic principle of American jurisprudence is everyone is innocent until proven guilty.Unless you are a liberal....then rock on.

Bill Clinton, O.J. Simpson, Ted Kennedy? This is a discussion forum, not a courtroom.

Cosby is being accused of some very bad things. I think they are both scum.

Cosby is an Obama lover and supporter. He’s No conservative despite the few times he has criticized thug culture.

Are we talking Bill Cosby or Bill Clinton?

There is a difference between a legal system and a justice system.

Cosby will never be put through the legal system to the extent it appears he deserves. There are enough women coming out to show that he is a pervert who liked to drug women.

It won’t be proven beyond the womens statements. I supported him initially but there are way too many for there not to be something there.

Cosby is being accused of some very bad things.

Lol, yes he is, of being a longtime serial rapist, drugging and raping women as young as 15, in numbers that may reach the dozens and that appears to have covered at least 40 years.

This is some very serious stuff, not sleazy playboy/philandering husband stuff.

And I discussed that you proclaiming Mr. Cosby's guilt, is a failure of logic, and is contrary to conservatism.

The principles of American jurisprudence are not confined to a courtroom. To say it is, is idiotic. Doesn't the concept of probably cause find its way into police procedure, and our expectation of civii liberty (both of which manifest themselves outside of a courtroom)?

Slick Willy, O.J., and Uncle Ted have nothing to do with Mr. Cosby and the allegations lodged against him. I didn't bring up the Duke Lacross or the current UVA case. Nor did I didn't bring up my history of being falsely accused of sexual assault.

Why? It's irrelevant. that's why.

There is a difference between a legal system and a justice system.

Huh? American jurisprudence doesn't know anything of what you speak. Let the plaintiffs put their complaint in a charging document, complete with evidence.

The only perfect justice is administered in the court by His Majesty, the Lord Jesus Christ. Absent that, we have our system built on principles that works quite well, as imperfect as it is.

As a professional investigator, I can tell you that there is NO WAY he committed the perfect crime; repeatedly, over decades. There is always evidence. Always.

Yes, I agree.

The point I was raising is that Bill Clinton has had no shortage of accusers, all of who have been suppressed in one way or another, much like Cosby. Now the dam cannot be stopped for Cosby.

I'm just hoping the same happens to Clinton, who I contend, based on those who have tried to expose the truth, probably has had as many unwanted sexual trysts as Cosby.

In 2008 many on the left fell under the spell of a certain Magic Negro.

Now, in 2014, many on the right have also fallen under the spell of another Magic Negro.

What is odd is that so many could keep quiet for so long - especially if there were many who knew each other.

... I would say he is after Wilt's record.

Wilt Chamberlain made his claim of having sex with thousands of women in response to Magic Johnson's claim of contracting HIV through heterosexual contact. His point was: If anyone was gonna get AIDS through heterosexual sex, it would be him. Yet, Wilt Chamberlain is not HIV positive.

Wilt's claim was made in the context of suggesting that Magic had been taking it up the rear.

I read your post and for some reason thought of Roman Polanski. Now, which one is worse? Why isn't Cosby where Polanski is? not in the USA...

Yes, but he once or twice took a break from supporting Obama to tell kids to pull their pants up. So this is all a frame up to thwart his imminent endorsement of Ted Cruz. Or something.

LOL!

Next time I see Cosby, I’ll ask him if he can give you the works. I can see you’re excited.
