don’t hold your breath....
Going to be a lot less “Hey! You’re so-and-so from the Rams. Here’s a warning” and more “Hey! You’re so-and-so from the Rams. Here’s your ticket.”
Now I hope they lose the rest of their games. lol
Now, if they spiked the ball after a TD they would be in real trouble.
Lies are always offensive.
How about a two game suspension WITHOUT PAY just for being stupid and drawing negative attention to their team....
How about telling them there will be no more police protection at their home games.
The NFL has gone the way of the NBA. Gansta NFL gear is marketed to the lowest common denominator.
The cops response would have been much more effective if they had just released a single statement:
Pants up! Don’t loot!
“Pants up! Don’t Loot!” is still funny though.
Good for them! Wish the DC cops had done the same when the Redskins did that ‘hands up’ crap at their opening game. They’ve gotten the season they deserve and in the process lost at least this one long-time fan forever.

Why worry about the fans, common sense, civility, when the alternative of barbarism is available?
Let’s see how much these well paid players donate for the burned out store owners in Ferguson.
Well, I am not going to win any popularity contest with my opinion, but here she is.
if as cited in the headline, city cops are calling for punishment for a free speech action, that is a violation of the Constitution. After all they are representatives of the city government.
If it is just a union thug calling for the punishment of ill mannered, ill informed pampered NFL thugs, all we have is two distrustful actions that should be condemned, but not by the city or any government entity but maybe by civilized people. The NFL and the Rams’ reaction? Now THAT is a different story.
Used to pull for the Rams, but now screw them. LA or wherever can have them back, with good riddance!!
Not that I disagree with them on this, but why is it they can never come out so hard against their own bad apples? The cop who slapped a guy for refusing a voluntary search, the cops in the Dorner hunt, Harless of Canton OH, the cop in the NYC stairwell shooting gets defended instead of condemned, on and on. Crickets.
Is this a badly-written satire site?
To be fair, they were playing the Raiders. I could see asking not to be shot whenever you’re playing Oakland...
In big-city departments many of these sports events are staffed by volunteers, for overtime. They’re popular and officers with seniority take them because they are easy, and you get to see some of the game.
St. Louis PD needs to show some solidarity. Nobody volunteer for this event.
No police coverage for, really, the entire city during the event.
