I found the questions troubling. Anyway, the results area bout where I’d expect them. I scored just right of center: Economic Left/Right: 2.62; Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.15.
4.9, 1.7. Strongly Right, mildly authoritarian.

Economic Left/Right: 3.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.26
My score: Economic Left/Right: 3.88

Yeah, laughed my ass off when they put Obama way to the right.
Very long.
Very bad questions.
I really didn’t know what to give as an answer of some of these.
I also don’t feel that I understand my score.
Economic Left/Right: 7.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.13
mais oui, Monsieur...Oh, sorry, I took you for a Frog.
Well that was dumb and offered no surprises.
PS: Questions appear to have been written by a lib.
I’ve found that mostly these polls are designed to make you think you’re more left politically than you thought you were and to attempt to change your future votes.
Now, how did your little test work on that question?
On the borderline Authoritarian-Libertarian, way to the right Economical; no surprise here.
Took a bite out of the X ring 1st shot. Close enough, 0.38x0.15
The test could have been shortened to a couple of questions with the same effect.
1. Do you stand with the multinational corporations or against them?
2. Are you in favor of one worldwide religion approved by the multinational corporations, or are you against it?
With contemporary fascist politics, it’s not surprising.
If you try to go to the next page without answering one or more of the questions, you’ll see the following.
“You have missed one or more propositions on this page.
We ask that you evaluate them all before we move on.”
“Propositions?” Creepy weirdos made that test.
The questions were very misleading in their construction.
Any experienced researcher worth their salt (that actually wanted to learn something) would laugh.
Design of a questionairre of this type is not for amateurs—and this one is based on the ideas of Adorno who helped create the idea that having conservative ideas was fascist, authoritarian, and psychologically unhealthy. His work was done in the early 50s along with other far left academics. Read some of the critiques offered by Ray. The questions are a giveaway—they are very similar to the theoretical foundations presented by Adorno and colleagues. Those foundations have caused a lot of damage as they are among the origins of the movement that took over academics and replaced good scientific ideas and practices with ideologically-driven scholarship. The quality of Adorno’s work has not stood up to rigorous scientific inquiry but that work still hangs over academia. We are living with the consequences of Adorno and colleagues’ works.
This questionnaire is not to be taken seriously.
Turns out I am an authoritarian statist left-winger ... call in the kitties!!!!
The site is registered to someone in London, England.
Economic Left/Right: 3.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.41
In general, I thought the questions were poorly framed and did not give a good mechanism to more accurately portray the actual attitude held by the person taking the test.
Some of the questions were just irritating and stupid.
