Hey! I saw my bagel toaster that went missing in 1993 in there! Where do there larcenous old farts live?!?!?
later read
And my coffee bean grinder! I thought my wife threw it out!
bfl.
I appauld their efforts. it’d be fascinating if it works
One can never have too many BNC patch cables... :-)
Reverse Gravitational Frequency?
I noticed the empty donut box and 2 empty chairs. Were they measuring the enormous thrust from flatulence?
Beans! The answer lays within beans.
Jackie Gleason figured this out years ago!

The net force is always going to be quite tiny. Objects don’t significantly change mass until they are near light speed. Even then I suspect the change in momentum due to the effect is balanced out is some way I have not thought of yet.
Real Science, This is for real. I remember doing these exercises.
I have zero doubt.
If we had 1/10,000 the control over the gravitational force that we do over the electromagnetic force, we’d probably have a massless drive.
Getting to that point will probably require a functional Theory of Everything, which seems to get farther away all the time.
Personally, I suspect much of the mass of the universe that we detect is hidden away in other dimensions we cannot perceive more directly. Figuring out how this works might not only give us antigravity but also the ability to take shortcuts thru other dimensions.
Wildly speculative, of course. But all the talk about dark energy and dark matter indicates to me there’s something missing at the very core of our understanding of physics.
My full agreement Sherman. What we know is probably written on one unfilled page. What we do not know is written on infinite pages filling infinite libraries.
I saw several big wads of tinfoil and lots of black electrical tape. This is serial.
Thanks. I’ve always been fascinated by science. Even read the infamous Brief History of Time, though it made my head hurt.
As I understand it, relativity and quantum mechanics are about as thoroughly proven as any theories in science, yet contradict each other. Both can’t be true, but they are.
Which (probably) means there is a deeper, more fundamental unity we haven’t figured out yet.
A personal and even more wildly speculative theory of mine is that these “inaccessible dimensions,” or some of them, make up the spirit realm, the inhabitants of which may have similar difficulty interacting directly with our world as we do with their’s.
Thank you for that theory and thought. I understand fully ‘head spinning’ when reading scientific fact and theory. Reading Albert Einstein still makes my head spin. When going further into reading beyond Albert almost think am in a can. Please don’t ask me to explain that last statement because I can’t. The entire can is the entire Universe and that is another ‘abstract’ on this abstraction known as whatever it is or is not. I best digress. Am becoming more confused by the split second.
bkmk.
