My Dragonfly And Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

To my gorgeous wife
That is the love of my life
I will never forget
That wonderful day that we met
In a cafeteria setting
There will be no forgetting
To gaze at your face and to my surprise
I was staring at a pair of beautiful almond eyes
The rest is history
As I continue to explore the mystery
That occurs everyday
And I pray that it never goes away
And that we stay together
Like birds of a feather
Until our last breath
When separated by death

Hello!
Well, going along pretty well, the temps have warmed up - that is a good thing. Beautiful sunshine.
I took a spill yesterday so I am a little stiff today, however I can walk.

Yes, those figure 8s are not easy to do while using and walker and trying to dance around a sweet new puppy the grandson brought home.
We have dogs, dogs, dogs here. Three here all the time, grandson will take his new puppy home in a few days.
There is so much snow on the ground I cannot get off the porch. Have not been off the porch since late Jan.

Starting tomorrow, The Bride and I are embarking on a week-long journey into the Middle Ages at Gulf Wars in Mississippi!
This is one of the biggest re-enactor events of the year, with jousting, feasting, crafting, pub sings and revels - and we’re going to see it all. Well, except for me: these old bones are not going on the field...
There will be lots of pics taken, and there might even be Web access out there - if there is, spot reports will come.
We’ll see y’all in a week or so!
