I still have the memory of my father buying me a Davy Crockett outfit, complete with a coonskin cap, evokes columnist Lewis Grizzard. I had something I have never seen again. A roy rogers ranch set with horses, and Tinkerbell and the house and everything. I would love to find it again. It was a solid place for me in a flying apart world.
They sent me a postcard that they signed. I was in heaven.
I can’t remember how we got in that parade. I was about 9 years old at the time and it felt strange to do it. Probably something to do with school. It must have made an impression because I remember it after all of this time.
