Maybe she was having bad "Dreams."
The lead singer of rock band The Cranberries allegedly assaulted a female flight attendant on an overnight flight from Kennedy Airport to Ireland and she head-butted a cop who tried to arrest her, authorities said.
Dolores ORiordan, 43, was arrested as soon as the plane landed at Shannon Airport early Monday, cops say. She was released from police custody later Monday and no charges were filed, the BBC reported. She had complained of being ill while at the police station, according to the report.

Agreed. One of their two songs that I like,"Dreams",is great for the first 3 minutes but the last minute is painful.I think it might be a European punk,or new wave, thing.
Woman admonishing WC Fields for his drinking: "Someday you'll *drown* in a vat of whiskey!"
Fields: "Drown in a vat of whiskey? Death, where is thy sting!"
One hit wonders definately. I couldn’t stand hearing the song over and over.
I am heavily Ulster Irish descended and still have kin there....some moved back actually....in Mayo too
My experience with Irish women....both Green(oddly Ireland associated color was blue till recent history) and Orange is:
Great skin....often alabaster
Gorgeous blue or green eyes
Great accents...its like living in a cool novel with them
Thick lush hair and pointy noses... usually nice cheekbones
Passionate...yes in that way
Usually delicate featured but boobs...not like Ukrainians or Baltic states but nice
Now downside:
Curse worse than Australian women...that’s saying something
Confrontational and loud but not bossy or chinny...still feminine oddly
Drink a lot....pub life....but not like men
That certain cloudy climate angst and darkness...sometimes augmented by Catholic shame/guilt
They can polish a grudge
Irish women are not malleable or easy to manage
Just being honest......but they are great in civil wars but over there and in the American South.....they got grit
It’s always the tiny dogs that bite.
A wee bit shy of being poetic there, me FRiend.
It was the cranberry juice cocktail.
She may not live in a castle, but she's gonna end up in the dungeon...
Pure anecdotal but I’ve noticed in English speaking countries other than the U.S., those of Irish descent are overly represented in fields like medicine, law, business, arts. I find that curious.
Zombie apocalypse ALERT!
Classy!
Joining Sinead O’Connor in giving the Irish a bad name.
Nothing wrong with the Corrs Sisters.
Butler Yeats I ain’t admittedly...not much on libations..
Polemic more than poetic...sadly
I’m tender hearted though...generous to a fault
Agreed.

Uh, I wasn’t really critiquing the music etc (don’t think I have ever KNOWINGLY heard of it or the entertainer), I was using a play on words to incorporate ‘Cranberries’ and ‘bog’.
OOPS...
Well, like ‘they’ say, if you have to splain a joke maybe the ‘joke’ wasn’t as funny as the relater may think.... <: <: <:
Yup,I did get the joke but only after I posted my reply. In future I should engage brain before moving typing fingers! ;-)

No problem, BUT I should maybe NOT try my ‘dry’ sense of humor when talking of bogs and cranberries.....
UGH.......
If you’re talking about the song I’m thinking of (Icicle Melts) it’s not an anti abortion song. That song is about the James Bulger murder case. It happened near Liverpool.
