Now that she’s home, Alexandra, her younger brother, mother and current stepfather are all receiving counseling. (She's in a broken home with at least two stepfathers).

The current stepfather/former stepfather thing suggested a rather chaotic environment from which a child might reasonably wish to escape. Good job on her survival skills!

Good heavens! Poor child.
She was probably hiding out at my house, she wouldn’t have seemed out of place here on any given week end. My daughter has numerous friends staying over, every single week end.
