Barack Obama's reaction to Tuesday's big election loss for the Democrats was mocked at the Country Music Awards by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. If their act looks somewhat familiar, they were the same duo who mocked ObamaCare last year at the same show.
They also took some potshots at Taylor Swift for seeming to have abandoned country music which they worked into the routine:

Taylor Swift has been hanging around the Kennedy clan for way too long
I am sad at the direction that Taylor Swift is taking.
I teach guitar, and most of my students are young girls. Taylor Swift’s songs were perfect for teaching guitar! They had structure, nice chord sequences, and the ability to be sung and played solo without backing tracks, karaoke, or beat boxes.
They were also usually about teenage hetero relationships, romance, heartache, and stuff like that. You know...real life.
I guess we can still sing the songs from her first three albums, but kids want to be up-to-date.
She is throwing away a huge constituency, of young listeners, concert-goers, and people who actually bought her SHEET MUSIC!
Also, she is making MY job more difficult! LOL!
she supported Obama...
Paisley is still an oxygen thief. He glowed over Barry before.
Post Traumatic Taylor Swift Separation Syndrome is what they were calling it, I believe.
Well there ya go..another piece of the puzzle no wonder she could stomach being around the Kennedys
I listened to “Fearless” and “Red” about 50-100 times. If I listen to “1989” more than 5 times, I’ll be surprised.
That Connor Kennedy looks like a dim bulb just like the rest of that wretched clan.
I wouldn’t kill her too much for that, if you see any interviews with her you can tell she’s a genuinely nice person. It’s not like she’s Natalie Maines or something.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD: As we stand here and celebrate and have a good time, we recognize that people around the world are worried.
BRAD PAISLEY: Yeah, you can’t turn on the TV or open up a newspaper or click on a website without being reminded of the epidemic that we’re all facing. And I don’t think I’m out of line by saying that this condition has hit Nashville the hardest.
UNDERWOOD: That’s right, Brad. And of course, we’re talking about Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder. Or, as it’s more commonly known, PPTSD.
PAISLEY: Why isn’t our government doing something about this? I’ll be the first one to say it. President Obama does not care about Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder.
UNDERWOOD: I’m pretty sure that’s why the Democrats lost the Senate. But Brad, how do you know the President doesn’t care?
PAISLEY: I know he doesn’t care because I asked him.
UNDERWOOD: When did you ask the President?
PAISLEY: Yesterday, I jumped the White House fence, ran across the lawn, the door was wide open. He was in the East Room meeting and I said, “Mr. President, are you upset about this Taylor Swift situation?” and I’ll never forget what he said.
UNDERWOOD: What did he say?
PAISLEY: No.
The Carrie and Brad also put a timely spin on Dolly Partons Jolene.
Quarantine, quarantine, quarantine, quarantine. What part of stay inside dont you understand? they sang referring to nurse Kaci Hickox who refused to be placed under a 21-day quarantine after returning to the United States from working with Ebola-stricken patients.
I don’t follow Country music but I don’t think that I have ever seen anyone with such impeccable fashion sense as does Taylor Swift. This is a way too casual society but she is the epitome of good taste in clothes and makeup.
Swift is also now a BFF of Lena Dunham.
So I’m not the only one who has noticed?
Do all your girls sing those hits about the awful men who left and cheated on them?
However, when Brad's on the Opry stage and lets fly on that paisley Telecaster I side toward forgiving him.
