This new Congress MUST represent the people of the country now. With Common Core, our grade school students are being asked to repeat the tenets of Islam. I thought religion wasn't allowed in the schools? Common Core Head, Arne Duncan, withholds education monies, required to be sent to the Federal Gov't from ALL states, from states that don't go with Common Core. With Obamacare, the Fed Gov't is already sucking up Health dollars for other purposes, not having anything to do with Healthcare. We want our freedom to choose our Doctors again! Make Health Insurance competitive, allow Health Insurance to be available across State lines and give it portability. C'mon you can do it!
These articles explain a LOT about why the Feds are shoving Common Core down our throats. This is a global movement. It’s in a large number of countries and growing like a cancer. There are obviously some very powerful forces (and money) behind it. It’s a veiled indoctrination mechanism to teach and implement socialism and radical Islam is one of the PC mechanisms and muscle they are using to do it. And decent medicine will continue to move offshore as it did in Britain and Canada. People should concentrate on getting international medical insurance. Medicine will be cheaper, including airfare, when you have to go to Costa Rica or Dominica to get that operation. It is already cheaper for something uninsured operations to go to Thailand or India where the best English doctors set up shop.

I have no interest in replacing Obamacare. I want the gub’mint to get its claws out of my healthcare and personal life in general.
Couldn’t agree more. It will be tough to get the ‘takers’ off the public dole though. I want everyone who CAN work to work. Those who CANNOT work will be taken care of.......there are charities and safety nets that will not evaporate.
I don’t want republican’t congresscritters settling for watered down legislation that is unconstitutional on its face. The republican controlled congress now has the opportunity to clear the decks of big government largesse and overreach. That’s the mandate that was handed to them last night. I’m not holding my breath.

I would be more than interested in hearing your strategy “to stop Obama’s agenda or to stop the nation from going full Marxist” that is not based upon keeping the majority.
BTW, I notice you’ve not addressed the point I made that McConnell said none of the things he was accused of making.
Conservatism is a way of life, not a game of politics that career Statists, hacks and pundits prefer to play. They are stuck on numbers, not principles.
McConnell’s fruits of enabling this regime and lack of fruits in attempting to stop Obama’s agenda are already self-evident, and will become even more self-evident in the months ahead.

Even when he has been granted power, he announced today that they are surrendering the power of the purse. So it doesn't matter if they have power, McConnell will always refuse to use it.
