Still, they look like they might be a bit on the radical side but I never heard that on the show.
They never let it get in the way of good car advice, at least until the '63 Dart one of them drove died, and they starting puching safety features.
Still, I remember the expectant mother and her husband from Berkeley with one child who owned a small Nissan pickup called, wanting to get a suitable car. They were thinking a Prius. One of the brothers asked if she was a tree hugger, she said yes, and revealed that she was expecting twins. He told her "she's hugged her last tree", and not so tongue in cheek recommend a Ford Crown Victoria. Good advice, doctors.

I just listened to them on Saturday. If Tom was suffering from Alzheimer’s it didn’t show. Suppose it was a rebroadcast. RIP.

This is such terribly sad news. He had such a quick wit and infectious laugh. Except for the classical music I no longer have a reason to listen to NPR. I sure as heck don’t donate because their idea of “balance” is to have uber RINO David Brooks agree with white hut talking points.

Perhaps the most prominent program on one of the arch-enemy networks, NPR. Yet through 54 posts, there are only glowingly positive comments. Class. Imagine if the opposite situation was in the news. Very proud to be a FReeper.
