On Tuesday, Slate and everyone else posted a video of a woman who is harassed more than 100 times by men as she walks around New York City for ten hours. More specifically, it’s a video of a young white woman who is harassed by mostly black and Latino men as she walks around New York City for ten hours. The one dude who turns around and says, “Nice,” is white, but the guys who do the most egregious things—like the one who harangues her, “Somebody’s acknowledging you for being beautiful! You should say thank you more,” or the one who follows her down the street too closely for five whole minutes—are not.

I never saw anyone in the media give a damn about the black muslim preachers in NYC with megaphones standing on street corners inciting racial hatred against the “white devils” walking past them on the sidewalk.

Exactly, and it is mostly the Black men who are the rudest.
I wish we had a “like” button on this site! I believe your post is spot on! If the men hitting on her were “hot” she and most women would not have an issue with it. The same goes for sexual harassment, it isn’t harassment if he is “hot”.
Jagoff males who use that line are trying to guilt the woman into stopping or saying something. Eff em!
I agree with everything you said, including the “like” button. I can’t tell you the number of times I have been ready to click that like button only to realize I am on freerepublic, not Facebook!
I experienced it in my younger days. It never came from a white man. Never.
