On Friday morning Baylor Hospital in Dallas confirmed a patient with ‘ebola similar symptoms’ also triggered a positive on a verbal screening questionnaire.
Although a positive blood test has not been confirmed, sources says it’s not unusual to have a patient screen positive considering the wider net for ebola now over Dallas. A positive screening means the patient met some of the criteria to cause concern.
A source at Baylor Hospital Dallas says the patient came to the Emergency Room through a private entrance and went straight to isolation.The source says Baylor transferred the person to Presbyterian Hospital a short while later.
A spokeswoman at Presbyterian read a statement to 1080 KRLD reporter L.P. Phillips on behalf of Texas Health Presbyterian spokesman Wendell Watson saying the hospital does not have a transfer patient – but could not say whether the patient was treated and released.
Whatever they case, they sent the person straight to Presby.
They probably ask them questions about their symptoms and whether or not they have been or west africa or had contact with someone how has recently.
It means they asked the individual about his(her) travels and his contacts and learned (s)he is at high risk of having Ebola.
It probably means that the patient had reason to believe he or she had been exposed to the Ebola virus.
Means they are in a higher risk group but not that they actually are infected.

Please call congress and tell them that we must be deadly serious about containing Ebola by strict quarantine within the United States and from infected nations. This is our right and it is our duty.

Ebola is being spread here in the United States right now. First Texas, then Ohio then? Terror is an excellent weapon. It disrupts, confuses, paralyzes and destroys a society. Many others and we on FR have speculated that terrorists may spread Ebola. How do you that remember 9/11 feel right now compared to what you felt then? Do you want to gather your loved ones near you to protect them? I do. Even more than I did on September 11, 2001! Isn’t this passive response by this administration accomplishing the very same things a terrorist would want?
When something is being done that makes as little sense as what Obama is doing there has to be some other reason. I leave it to you dear reader to draw your own conclusions as to the reasons.
What is happening now is insane. It makes no sense at all. For example the head of CDC says: “Stopping travel from Africa won’t do any good because you have to get people into Africa to fight Ebola.” “You can’t get Ebola from an infected person on a bus but an infected person should never be on a bus because he can infect others.” “Blocking travel from infected countries would damage their fragile economies.” What about ours? You’ve seen the stock market these last few days.
Even the most despotic dictatorship in Africa has acted to protect his nation by strict quarantine and stopping travel from infected countries. Even CDC, the UN and WHO advocate and credit strict quarantine for nipping the spread of Ebola in the bud at the source in places like Senegal and Nigeria where both have had faster and more successful outbreak controls than we have had here. 35 countries have stopped travel of people from infected West African countries. It is so obvious even a child could understand it so why is it OK for people from infected countries to travel here?

Over at The Conservative Treehouse there is an article about a little boy who has died from the Enterovirus. He is the 7th death linked to that virus. Remember all the "children" streaming across our border from Central America? Well, this particular strain of enterovirus is not usually found all that often in the U.S., it is a -- wait for it -- strain more likely found in Central America.
They sprinkled these kids/families all over the country, and now children are dying across the country from this virus. We have 1 dead from Ebola, and it is constantly on the news; we have 7 dead from this particular enterovirus, crickets.
Please provide an authoritative link that states what you just claimed.
Enterovirus-D68 is not commonly found anywhere.
