Last week, LifeNews reported on the brief life and death of baby Shane, whose courageous parents Dan and Jenna Haley allow to have a chance at life. They rejected abortion even though their baby had been diagnosed with anencephaly and was expected to die not long after birth.
The Haleys won admirerers around the world for their innovative idea to create a bucket list of things Shane would have done had he had the opportunity to live a full life. Little Shane experienced so much in life before he was even born. Today, he finally saw the world outside his mothers womb.
Tragically, Shane passed away shortly after he was born. Shane Haley was born at 2:25 a.m. and he died hours later.
Unfortunately, just hours after his birth and death, hackers broke into the Haleys Facebook page and posted profane and hateful messages and removed some of the pictures the couple had posted of their little boy. According to one report:
The couple from Pennsylvania, who created a bucket list for their unborn son, says the Facebook page dedicated to their journey has been hacked and flooded with abusive messages.
Dan and Jenna Haley from Upper Darby were devastated when 13 weeks into the pregnancy, their baby-to-be was diagnosed with a neural tube defect called anencephaly, which is the absence of part of the brain and skull.
They decided to chronicle their journey and created a Facebook page in order to make the most of their time with their son Shane who was born last Thursday morning and died just three hours later.
Adding to the couples grief, relatives say someone hacked into the page on Saturday afternoon and posted explicit images. Mom, Jenna, was very upset and was worried that she would lose the memories posted on the page but Facebook has managed to restore the tribute
Jennas father said that his daughter was very upset and was worried that she would lose the memories posted on the page.
However by 5pm yesterday afternoon, the photos were removed and the page appeared to be back to normal.
Today at 6:15 a.m., after meeting his entire family and being baptized into the Catholic faith, baby Shane died peacefully in his Mothers arms, Jenna and Dan Haley of Philadelphia wrote in a Facebook message after Shanes birth and death. We are so grateful for the time that we were blessed to hold and hug our son.
Hes still our little boy and even though hes been given such a short life expectancy because of anencephaly, we wanted to make sure that we gave him a lifetime worth of adventures and love while hes with us, Dan Haley said last month.

Shane diagnosed with anencephaly, a malformation of the babys skull and brain. Many parents, upon receiving this heart-wrenching diagnosis, lose hope for their childs future.
But Shanes parents, Dan and Jenna Haley, are no ordinary parents. With a deeply-rooted faith in God, which has remained unshaken by the unclear path set before them and their son, Dan and Jenna relinquished their anxiety and fear and chosen to embrace the time they had with Shane however long or short that may have been.
On their Facebook page, Prayers for Shane, they recorded memories they are making with little Shane, using the hashtag #shanesbucketlist. They have visited family, gone to the zoo, and attended sporting events.
wow, just amazing how low some people will sink. How could any human being do this to this poor couple?
May those hackers rot in hell.
How could they do it to a baby who poses no threat to them? Is what I wonder.
I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near those hackers(Pro abortion scum!) when they meet their maker..it won’t be pretty. God Bless this amazing family and God Bless the memory of baby Shane
Is there any way these clowns can be identified?
Still, there's no excuse for such hateful behavior.
Personally I’m glad they did it. It was beautiful. Also it’s a pro life message and they will be rewarded for it in Heaven. The people who did this hate life, and love abortion.
Of course..if they did it from their home computer, or even from one of those computer labs that they have around the country..they can see where the posts came from, but I doubt facebook does anything, remember who runs Facebook, big flaming libs
