Rock Lobster...

Rock lobsters have no claws and are darker and bumpier in appearance than the Maine lobster.

That's a spiny lobster. Spiny lobsters lack claws.

Those claw junk from the NE are nothing nut sea going craw fish!

lobsters are everywhere else in the world and don't have claws.

Only the California Spiney one from north of Magdalena bay does the tail grow in proportion to the thorax, everywhere else the thorax growa but the tail stops about 8” long.

The biggest one I ever got was 18 pounds and 6 of us gorged ourselves for a week at Catalina.
