Pro-abortion vandalism at colleges and universities is nothing new, but the offensive way in which abortion advocates at Eastern Michigan University vandalized pro-life chalk drawings has pro-life advocates reeling.
Last week, Students for Life of America (SFLA) and other pro-life groups participated in National Pro-Life Chalk Day at junior high, high school and college campuses across the country. While America is the land of free speech, abortion activists in Michigan apparently disagree.
swastikasStudents at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan report how vandals covered their drawings with the Nazi swastika symbol and threw water on the chalkings as well. The pro-life student group wrote slogans like Life is precious, lets protect it and Love them both and Women regret abortion.
Eastern Michigan Students for Life has two main goals on campus: inform the student body about abortion and help women in crisis pregnancies. To achieve both of these goals, we have loving, meaningful, and civil conversations on campus with our peers, explained Rueben Ainley, Vice President of Eastern Michigan University Students for Life. We also have many events planned throughout the year to educate the student body about abortion. The vandalism that took place on our sidewalk chalking display shows that some people who disagree with us do not want to have dialogue about abortion but instead show their point of view through vandalism and hatred.
Chalking is a common activity for many pro-life student groups nationally its fun, inexpensive and an effective and creative way to get out the pro-life message to college students who may be facing an unplanned pregnancy or who may just want to be more involved in the pro-life club.

swastikas2Pro-life students have every right to have their voice heard as anyone on any college campus. Drawing swastikas next to positive messages of love and hope are unconscionable. Our pro-life movement serves to help and support those who are marginalized by society.
The vandalism occurred last night (Sunday, October 5) while the pro-life students were drawing their messages.
This vandalism shows the intolerance of some people on campus who have differing views than us, said Ainley. Eastern Michigan Students for Life, through our dedicated leadership team and members, want to change hearts and minds through loving means.
Pro-life students have every right to have their voice heard as anyone on any college campus, said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, the nations premier organization that helps to organize, educate and equip 800+ pro-life student groups on campuses across the country. Drawing swastikas next to positive messages of love and hope are unconscionable. Our pro-life movement serves to help and support those who are marginalized by society.
My alma mater. How disappointing.

It's kinda fitting given that an enormous percentage of children aborted in this country are black...or this country's "Non Aryans".
They have no clue.
It seems appropriate. Nazis Against Life!
Universities in this country are the home of some of the most intolerant dimwits in the world...It really surprises me how ignorant some college students are.
+1
I attended the March for Life in DC back in 1993 or so. Was astonished to see pro-aborts dressed in Nazi uniform in front of the Supreme Court. These folks are clueless, classless, clymers.
