I say in all seriousness that this is an insult to the Mafia. We've all read how they can be killed for saying the wrong thing, or to the wrong person, and we have seen and read about disproportionate revenge beatings or killings, but there is no comparable cultural practice of completely disproportionate overreaction to an almost limitless list of imagined and minor offenses.

Maher is on to something. Islam doesn’t enjoy 1A rights because it isn’t a religion - it’s a theocractic, extra-constitutional form of government that seeks to operate within constitutional forms of government all over the world until they have the ability to eventually replace it.
