Hello to Amy’s Place!

I had a great Christmas but 2 days later got a late gift that was not so great, the sore throat and cold that 3 of the guests had on Christmas Day.

Feeling a little better today.

They were highly contagious, evidently. They showed no outer symptoms. But 2 days later I was sick.

Other than that it was a great Christmas Eve and Day.

Falling Snow

See the pretty snowflakes
Falling from the sky;
On the wall and housetops
Soft and thick they lie.

On the window ledges,
On the branches bare;
Now how fast they gather,
Filling all the air.

Look into the garden,
Where the grass was green;
Covered by the snowflakes,
Not a blade is seen.

Now the bare black bushes
All look soft and white,
Every twig is laden,
What a pretty sight!

Beautiful, Trish! I heard on the radio, earlier, that much of the west/southwest will have freezing weather, this week....and, much of the area might get snow!

We’re even supposed to have some cold weather, for New Year’s...here in SE TX.

In 1939, Germany invaded Poland, and WW2 officially began.

6 Years.

A LOT of damage can be done in 6 years.
