I think “Harry Reid bad” is a great message. I haven’t seen any of that. Running against Pelosi worked damned well in 2010.

I think Cochran may resign after the election should he win and we’d have another appointee.

I think that was the plan all along. No way a Conservative will get that seat by appointment.

While I’m not dismissing the possibility of voter fraud, it has gotten much harder to do in Kansas with the passage and enforcement of the voter id law. It’s really only an issue in Wyandotte County.

That’s not what this is about.

No it's not; You're right. It's about me making a peace offering to you.

Arg!

That's who his "surprise guest" is!

Yikes, I'm not close and she'd be quite welcome here (again) in the metro Kansas City area!

"She doesn't like Roberts"

You know that for an absolute fact, do you?

Sadly Independence, KS is too far away from me to make an appearance, but at least Sarah will be in G-d's Country!

Everywhere that Governor Sarah Palin goes is God's Country! Her embrace of Biblical principles is a light shining forth in the darkness of the wicked, deceitful hussein/holder/jarrett criminal conspiracy.

Go Sarah go! Bring God back to the classroom with Prayer and Bible reading! Restore America! Crush islam! Abolish the minimum wage!

Governor Brownback can appoint a conservative replacement for Roberts, when Roberts resigns for health reasons AFTER the election (ASAP?)

You're assuming Brownback is around to appoint a replacement. He's having his own problems.

no, but I believe it with an absolute opinion. Not sure why you would feel snotty about my theory here. Maybe explain.

I'm not "feel(ing) snotty" about your theory, friend. Absolutely no disrespect intended on my part.

It should be stated as an opinion, however, when imparting such a strong negative feeling on the part of another, when it is pure conjecture.

That Sarah has stood for the GOP candidates, a few if which, I questioned but I still support her and understand her power to persuade voters to vote in favor of this or that candidate (John McCain) against a friend in a primary. I support her choice, regardless of whether or not I have agreed.

It is a message that’s incomplete. You know this from your own work in the primaries.

I would like to see a governing plan. And in that respect I will revise The Great Communicator’s quote:

“Verify, then trust.” After Mississippi, Republicans need to re-earn my trust.

Sorry I felt snottiness where none was intended - and to your point, I suppose you have a point - but then again, it's an internet opinion forum. I would think that FR comments are assumed to be opinions. Of course it was just my opinion. I wrote it. I never intended for anyone to think I knew this from some sort of inside info. And it looks like you might be the only one who did. Altho in fairness, it is NOT PURE CONJECTURE. It is partial conjecture based on ample evidence of the type of candidate Palin prefers versus those she will accept.

passage and enforcement of the voter id law.

Just means the method of cheating will change, voting machines are the tools of tyrants. Voter ID will have about as much effect on Vote Fraud as a fence will have on Illegal immigration.

Pat Roberts is more conservative on immigration than Cruz or Lee.

I’m not familiar with Roberts’ immigration stance. What is it, and what makes him “more conservative” than my Sen Cruz on this?
