Your take? I’m still stunned from the unfunny.
I never watch American TV any more.
I did start to turn on a football game the other day but Tampa Bay was losing 28-0 at the start of the second quarter... why did they bother to show up?
Pathetic. I didn’t watch long.
I’d much rather find something online, foreign TV shows and the like.
They could have ripped “Seinfeld” off worse by calling it “Mulva”

Its remarkable the way certain sitcoms just gel, the characters blend well and some of these shows will go on for a decade. Others are here and gone and most of us never even heard of them.
Good writing is key and probably almost a miracle when you get the right team.
For me, I almost never watch anything on network TV, haven’t in years. Not that the stuff I watch is that high-brow or anything, just that what passes for sitcoms for the most part just goes right past me.
Always thought Seinfeld was unfunny, so any show that emulates Seinfeld wouldn’t be worth my time.
Well I’m relieved that others have this reaction. From the very first commercial they ran about this show, I felt this way. I had absolutely zero desire to watch it after seeing their promos a couple months ago.
I didn’t plan on watching it, because it looked like a shameless rip-off of the Seinfeld format. Besides, even the commercials for it looked terrible.
If you’re going to rip of the Seinfeld format, at least give credit where credit is due. Don’t sell it as the incredibly bright idea of a newcomer, and this is exactly what it appeared to me they were doing.
Seinfeld was a very good show. He, the other actors, the writers and the production company made it look so easy, others thought it would be an easy hit. I think crews like the Seinfeld crew don’t come along very often.
Something magical either happens or it doesn’t. In the case of Seinfeld, it hit. Leave out one element and it won’t. Actors, writing, production..., any hitch in the process and it all suffers.
It is interesting how Larry David’s endeavors seemed to flop. The program he was involved in on HBO left me without so much as a smile.
Others may have liked it, but I watched it a few times and it was downright painful.
Seinfeld is a funny quirky guy. He had an advantage right there. He had that Jewish thing going on, and it was very entertaining. His and George’s family situation. Elaine, Kramer, some of the colorful side characters, wow what a hilarious show.
No Martin Short, I think you can cancel that Mulaley appointment.
I am binge-watching Parks and Rec. Way funnier!
Did you happen to catch “The Mysteries of Laura” the other night? New cop show starring Debra Messing.... it was horrible. She is in the process of divorcing her husband and they have two of the worst behaved children ever shown on television....I guess they are trying to make her appear human in the role, but it is too over the top
I just bought the entire Get Smart series on DVD. That will block a whole lot of bad television.
Didn’t the powers that be hate Seinfeld before it aired? Maybe they see the Seinfeld connection in this new show and assume it’ll take off? If I recall no show ever tested lower than Seinfeld.
I agree 101%. That show (Seinfeld) was completely unfunny.
