Elaborate, Please. LOL! ;)

Coconut oil and even the whole coconut is what could be termed a true “miracle food,” IMHO!
I have a life-long STRONG dislike of those little white bits of dried coconut. (Ptui- ptui-ptui)
HOWEVER:
The oil has a different character altogether, as does the “Manna” which is the meat with some of the coconut oil in it. The flour made from coconut is a treasure for those who need to avoid wheat and gluten products.
The oil can be extremely healing to dry skin.
The oil has antibiotic properties, externally and internally. It is very digestible and has gotten a very bad rap from the govt/do-gooder/heart disease industry for the past 20 years or so. In fact, the movie industry a long time ago used coconut oil almost exclusively then they were persuaded by the food police to stop using it, and movie popcorn didn’t taste quite as good after that, imho.
It can help with a whole host of conditions which one might not think could be ascribed to an oil.
Dr. Bruce Fife has written several books on the benefits and uses of coconut in its various forms.

Coconut oil is a saturated fat, but it is made of up what is called medium-chain trigylcerides, which is a 50 cent way of saying that the molecule is smaller than the other saturated fats, and the body CAN handle it very easily.
In fact, this property of the medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) is what gives it an amazing ability to help with brain and nerve dysfunction.
There are those who are in the medical community who are saying that Alzheimers is actually a Type III form of diabetes, because the use of glucose in the brain goes haywire during that disease. What has been learned is that the body can break down the MCTs quickly, and the good stuff goes directly to the liver where it can be then manufactured into an alternative source of food for the brain (Ketones.)
If you have not already done so, look at what Mary Newport has learned about this. Her husband was diagnosed with early Alzheimers. She is a doctor, and started researching everything she could lay her hands on to try to help him.
What she learned from the literature is that MCTs have been shown to be that alternative food source for the brain. She started feeding her husband coconut oil. He responded in an amazing manner. You can read their story on her web site and in her book. It is very inspiring and while everyone is different, it is a very hopeful piece of info to have, imho.

I think that coconut oil has earned a deserved spot in every prepper’s pile of goodies.
Diana I W, this may be more than you wanted to know -— but you DID ask! ;-D
[I’m getting a message here from the side: Darlin’ really wants to emphasize the importance of that antibiotic property!]
