"St. Thomas mascot, Tommie, was seen using a flier from a College Republicans booth to wipe his rear end Tuesday.
Minnesota Republican House hopeful, Andy Brown, was promoting his candidacy in the Anderson Student Center Tuesday afternoon when Tommie reportedly grabbed a piece of Browns literature and proceeded to wipe his bottom with it."

I have a son that plays football for St. Thomas and we are not happy that the university mascot publicly mock defecated on the campaign literature of one of the university's own students that is running for the MN state house.

Does video exist?
Don’t complain.
Use it as a campaign ‘issue’ to your benefit.

Would Tommie be so bold and audacious to perform a similar act with the Koran?
Didn’t think so.

Wow.
What offends me most is that a mascot representing a college did this low-class thing regarding politics.
Next that a saint-named mascot would be involved in such gross as well as unfair things. No saint would do that.

Contact administration and insist this mascot be replaced.

Why don’t the Republicans put Tommy in a locker for a while? Stop complaining and do something

By just casual observation those who call themselves progressive liberals (communists), have not a civil bone amongst the lot of them.
Conservatives will not respond in kind, not saying this is a bad thing; just an observation; it seems we survive; continually wedged between a rock and hard place.

Stop complaining and do somethingWaaaaaaay too much sacrifice required for that. Easier to make it someone else's problem, exactly why we are where we are today in America.

This is just a mild version of how a Minnesotan Democrat expresses political views. I had to leave that s&&thole after ten years.

Maybe a Tommie and and Johnie can agree for once? I'm personally pushing for a suspension through the Tommie-Johnie game since that game brings in all of MN’s politicians...
