We meet the nattily-dressed gaming exec who stole the show at the Apple launch - and inspired a stream of online parodies Dutch gamer Tommy Krul appeared on stage wearing a purple knitted infinity scarf ... Colleagues said the scarf reflected his mindset of 'making something as beautiful and distinct as possible' He would not say if he is single

The iPhone 6 may have been the headliner, but gaming executive Tommy Krul stole the show at yesterday’s Apple event.

Dressed in a faded button down with a purple knit infinity scarf, he was brought on stage at the packed event to demo a game his company developed called Vainglory. ... All eyes quickly focused on Tommy.

‘Skip the phone, I want to know where this guy got that incredible scarf ensemble’ Twitter user ‘@RyanMaue posted. ... Shortly after moving to California, Tommy joined with a group of fellow gaming enthusiasts to found Super Evil Megacorp in 2012. The company’s first release is a sci-fi fantasy themed multiplayer online battle game named Vainglory.

It’s no surprise that Tommy himself is an avid gamer. He writes that his video game development company is ‘by gamers, for gamers’ and takes his work very seriously.

One photo he posted of his laptop propped up on a sunny table in San Francisco is captioned with the comment, ‘To be clear, as lovely as the weather was, and granted, out of view there may have been a mimosa, I was still working on a Sunday ;-p.’ ... Tommy himself told MailOnline that he has only just learned of his internet fame. ... 'I often wear scarves, it's funny.'

It’s my understanding that tranny’s usually wear something around their necks to hide their Adam’s apple.

I bought me son a “Loyal Order of the Blue Falcon” t-shirt and told him to wear it to Army basic. He got much extra attention. We laugh about it now but that shirt is on the list for things not to wear to Army basic.

But the important question is, is there a single twist in the loop to make it truly infinite? Shouldn’t they just call it a Mobius scarf?

An infinity scarf is simply one where the ends of the rectangular scarf are sewn together, making a NOOSE instead of a rectangle. .................

From living ten years in western Europe, I would say that this guy looks like a lot of what passes for young men over there, at least among the white-collar (scarf-collared?) crowd.

They eventually butch up a bit in their 30's (unfortunately so do the women).

So basically, he wanted to wear a knit skirt but didn't want to be quite that flaming so he scrunched it around his neck.

Apparently, at least in Pervlandia, you can get away with anything as long as you give it a new trendy name.

Just the sight of the things annoy me. It seems every female from 14 to 65 is wearing them, even in the summer. I'd rather have my own style than look like just another lemming wearing a neck brace.

Apparently they're the hot item for queers, as well.

Mentally compare a guy from the greatest generation to this guy and there is no way one can deny “we are headed for a world of hurt”.
