It’s no secret that the late comedy icon Joan Rivers was no friend of First Lady Michelle Obama. And according to a late interview only weeks before her death, the Fashion Police host banned Mrs. Obama from attending her wake.
In an interview with The Sunday Times magazine, Rivers also banned singer Adele, calling her “fat,” and Chelsea Handler, before calling her a “drunk” and a “whore.”
At a signing for her new book Diary of a Mad Diva at an NYC Barnes & Noble, a reporter asked Rivers about the possibility of the first gay president, where she replied: “We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.” The brash comedienne also directed a barb at FLOTUS, calling her a “tranny.”
These weren’t the first jokes Rivers made at the First Family’s expense.
During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Rivers said: “We used to have Jackie O now we have Blackie O!”
Rivers died at the age of 81 after going into cardiac arrest during routine throat surgery. In a recent interview, the actress seemed to expect death, calling it “inevitable” due to her advancing years. She also tried to help daughter Melissa Rivers to come to terms with her impending death.
Joan wanted all of the guests to have a chance at the buffet after the funeral.

She was right about Chelsea Handler. Each time I happen to see Handler’s show, she looks fried or marinated, acts dizzy, as though she took too many valiums, and is one word away from being rated X.
The best part of it (besides upsetting the Regime) is what can liberals say, without causing cognitive dissonance? That she was insulting them?
Because she knew she would make it about HER.
Joan was great..still can’t believe she is gone..and she pissed off the Obama’s, thats why when she died they didnt say anything about her death(Yet said something about the death of Robin Williams, maybe he voted for him?)

Great? Maybe....at one time long ago. Did you not hear what Joan had to say about Sarah Palin?
I know what she said about Sarah and it was horrible..but that was BEFORE she met the Palin family during Wife Swap, her opinion about the Palin family changed. In fact, both Bristol and Sarah wished Joan a speedy recovery and Bristol wrote a nice article on her blog about how much she will miss her

saw that show, Joan was great, her daughter went to live with the Palin girls and one went to live with Joan’s family..They both came out looking good...

After that show aired Joan gained a whole new respect for the Palin family and you know what, ever since they met Joan Rivers never made a nasty joke about Sarah Palin or her family again..in fact, at the end of the show Joan said she loved Bristol..and I thought that was wonderful, how a person can go from hating a family to respecting and even loving them, thought that was really sweet
I am sure that being on “Wife Swap” with someone would change one’s opinion of their cast mates and provide a milieu for bonding, but there is still no excuse to call a person like Sarah Palin a retard.

I know that, and trust me I was VERY upset when she did that..and Bristol demanded an apology, it was a vulgar statement..but I was also happy to see that Joan did see the Palin family in a whole new light..and if the Palins were able to forgive her, I guess I was too..the Palins are a wonderful family..once people actually meet them face to face they see them the way that I see them, genuine, wonderful, caring people
Thanks for the info, I was not up to speed I guess. Just in my basic knee jerk get a mad on against any comic, (or anyone else for that matter), who might try attacking the greatest person ever, Sarah Palin!!!)!
