On Monday, Eagles running back LeSean McCoy was accused by a local Philadelphia restaurant of leaving a 20-cent tip on a $60 bill.
Although the running back has yet to comment on the incident, the owner kept pressing the issue on Tuesday.
In a statement posted on the restaurant's Facebook page, PYT owner Tommy Up accused the running back of being "verbally abusive to our staff in the most insulting ways" and making "derogatory statements" about women.

Yes, especially for those who barely gradiated aiffe grade.
If this is the first time, then I give the guy a break.
Have you ever intentionally left a $hity tip for lousy service. I have not(because I was a waiter 20 years ago), but I do know plenty of people that have done this.
People are making this out as if he is Ray Rice or Michael Vick. Give it a break!
Bullshi*. A 15% tip is the norm. A 20% or more tip is for above the norm. These servers might make $2 an hour and depend on tips for their livelihood.
If one has the right to stiff the wait staff, the wait staff has the right to call you out for it.
LeSean?
Yep. It’s all about free speech.
Actually, it is not.
Most of the players are God-fearing athletes who've been married and have strong families. It is enjoyed by our military and it promotes community and character.
Which is why the Left is attacking it.
Yep, exactly.
In Philly, the typical wait staff would have FReepers committed to re-education camps. The fact that the restaurant went so public with this says something about lack of professionalism and bad business sense. Maybe they should do an ad that says " Eat at ptomaine house and have your reputation ruined. " These people ain't Gert down at the diner, believe me.
NFL scrum. But I repeat myself.
In case you missed the memo, common sense is not only allowed but encouraged when analyzing articles on free republic.
Scrum = scum. I hate this phone.
LeSean will most likely have his food spit on by the wait staff everywhere he eats.
Most restaurants offer free meals to the athletes and Stars,it drums up business.Guess how many big names will be going to that restaurant now. Also I think it should be against the law to show someone’s personal bill.
Sorry, I can’t see the NFL being anything other than a left wing propaganda mouthpiece.
The Costas rant on gun control last season on a Sunday night halftime, the whole Micheal Sam lovefest where his being drafted becomes some sort of seminal event with the Cowboys then holding a press conference to announce his signing to the practice squad, and even the degeneracy that has marked recent Super Bowl halftimes. It seems the NFL has become involved in every trendy social movement that comes along. It didn’t use to be that way.
Today I was reading an article on the drop in NFL TV numbers with last night’s Monday night game being down 21 percent from last year. It appears these declining numbers are a trend that’s becoming a real concern Hundreds of comments from fans after the article stating they were done with the NFL for the reasons listed above along with others.
Way too much propaganda from the league and their media cohorts.
The new contact rules are a total disaster, the preseason was a nightmare, way too many flags. Last season, the players appeared to be walking though the first five weeks and from what I’ve seen so far, the trend is continuing.
I’m not planning my Sundays around what amounts to a lazy, feminized version of the game I enjoyed for the past 35 years.
Costas work for NBC, not for the NFL.
It's the liberal sports idiots at NBC and ESPN (and that fricking loudmouth Rome) who are turning the NFL into a PC-garbage infested league.
The league itself is being destroyed by these sports "journalists."
“Bullshi*.”
I disagree... Tips are only appropriate for good service.
Thank you. I believe the vast majority of football players are thugs. Low IQ brutes who couldn`t get a real job. They are overpaid , classless cavemen. Money doesn`t mean class.
