If anyone has any ideas I am all ears. My poor guy is miserable and I don't know what to do for him.

Catching the scent of coyotes or mountain lion would be my guess.

Do you live near a windmill farm? From what I understand, animals can pick up the audio or static discharge created by the spinning blades.

Earthquake coming.
My birds do that out here in WA. Sometimes only a very small temblor on the way.

Animals can sense earthquakes. So maybe your area is about to have a massive one.

Years ago, I heard something like this on Art Bell when I couldn’t sleep
I forgot what actual event indicated, but it was a foreshadow to an earthquake or some other act of nature.
Hope that helps.

Funny you mention that.. I’m down in Maryland and for the past month my 6 y.o. dog out of nowhere won’t go outside unless the wife or are outside or if I do get him out on his own he won’t leave the deck and he’s constantly following us around the house to be in the same room. He’s good size, 70lbs and never acted that way before.

You might take him to the vet for some sedation. It might calm him down for a while, or until whatever is bothering him passes.

Well, I don’t think it’s an Earthquake. They don’t have many in Ohio.

I have read of animals behaving strangely just before earthquakes.
Not sure whether there are any asteriods heading this direction soon.

Coyotes have been snatching up smaller dogs. It happened to my wife’s friend about two weeks ago. I take an air rifle outside with my little Jack Chi.
