This, after Russia denied NBC Studios’ babbling heads and U.S. Olympic athletes their Chobani in Sochi. Chuckie Schumer’s whining couldn’t sway Vlad Putin.

Love Chobani

22 grams of protein per serving. One of them cups and an apple I’m good to go.

Yep, that was my lunch today. Chobani Yogurt is simply the best. Tried all the others, came back to Chobani. Their Strawberry Bannana is my fav.

LOL

The .99 cent store, surprisingly, has them at that price.

I usually grab a flat or two at that price.

My very, most, bestest, mostest tasting one is pomegranate.

Hell, Wally World is a buck 29 to a buck fitty but, they always have pomegranate and vanilla.

Oh man! I just drove into Wally World and will get me sumb!!!

I recently discovered this cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Splendid stuff on toast in the morning. Wal-Mart carries it.

Isn't Dannon HQ in White Plains, NY? Fage has a plant in Johnstown, NY. Does Chuckie Schumer prefer Turks making greek yogurt?

The UN has stated that insects contain an extremely large amount of protein ... wonder if this isn’t one of their sneaky ways of getting you to eat more insects ... probably couldn’t really tell if they grind them up real well or for that matter Soylent Green might be an additive.

My kitty is addicted to Chobani. Cries in front of the refrigerator every time I step into the kitchen. Great stuff.

Don’t know if yogurt/Greek-yogurt still contains milk sugar, i.e., lactose, after processing. If it does, our veterinarian says not to feed it to the domesticus felinus - gives them the runs, which is unhealthy.

I’ve eaten crickets and grasshoppers so, for me, it’s a choice thing.

Burgers and fries and cherry pies, it was simple and good back then
Walking in the sand hand in hand never thinking that it could end
Making our love with the moon above at the drive in picture show
And it was burgers and fries and cherry pies in a world we used to know

Changes come and go we’ve had our share I know
Now it seems we don’t have time for love anymore
All the things we used to say, little things we did each day
Oh I long to do the things that we did before

When it was burgers and fries and cherry pies, it was simple and good back then
Walking in the sand hand in hand never thinking that it could end
Making our love with the moon above at the drive in picture show
And it was burgers and fries and cherry pies in a world we used to know

Well I’m still the same old me, that’s all I’ll ever be
I’d like to think that you’re the same old you
We lost something down the line that I wish we both could find
Lord I’d like to do the things that we used to do

When it was burgers and fries and cherry pies, it was simple and good back then
Walking in the sand hand in hand never thinking that it could end
Making our love with the moon above at the drive in picture show
And it was burgers and fries and cherry pies in a world we used to know

Just had a job in Norwich scoping out flooding damage to the railroad that runs from Binghamton to Utica. The headquarters is in Norwich, but apparently the plant where they make the yogurt is the next valley over to the east. There is talk that once the RR is back in service Chobani may get railcar deliveries of plastic resin to make the plastic cups on-site at maybe Norwich.

Honestly, I can't believe people spend that much money on stupid yogurt, when it is like zero effort at all to make your own at home. I would innoculate whole milk with a tablespoon of the last batch, pour it in jelly jars, put it in the oven with the door cracked with a deck of playing cards, and the heat from just the oven lightbulb would maintain 112 degrees... 8 or so hours later it was yogurt... cap it up and toss it in the fridge. No effort at all once you figure out the width of the crack in the door it takes to maintain 112 degrees.

Fage is much better.

Agree! Chobani is loaded with all sorts of sweeteners. Mocked by yogurt purists.

Does anyone know whether Chobani founder, sole owner and Turkish Kurd, Hamdi Ulukaya, is a practicing Muslim?
