Based on the lukewarm reviews, I'll skip it. In any case, we now have:

Houdini (1953)—played by Tony Curtis
The Great Houdini (1976)—played by Paul Michael Glaser
Young Harry Houdini (1987)—played by Wil Wheaton & Jeffrey DeMunn
Houdini (1998)—played by Johnathon Schaech
Houdini (2014)—played by Adrien Brody

So how about being creative and doing a biopic about someone we HAVEN'T seen depicted in a movie before, History Channel?

I nominate Ormer Locklear.

Wing walker extraordinaire during the barnstorming days of the 1920s and 30s!

Is that obscure enough?

Or John Browning, Eugene Stoner, James H.”Dutch” Kindelberger. The designer of the P-51 Mustang fighter of WWII. Or John Garand, creator of the M-1 rifle and the myriad machines that mass produced it.
