I want to add the Colusseum in Rome. When I went it had lots of kitties sauntering around it.
Actually Rome has lots of kitties. I had the window in my hotel room open in the August breeze I could hear the cats below in the Plaza making love.
(not a nice sound)

Here in Ottawa, there used to be a colony of stray cats living on Parliament Hill. My understanding is that they were originally descended from the cats that controlled the rodents on the Hill until the 1950s.
The colony even had a miniature House of Parliament to live in at the back of the grounds, and it became quite a tourist attraction. But between the retirement of the volunteers who cared for the cats, and a sterilization program, the colony was reduced to just a few. Once they were adopted out, they shut it all down last year.

I'd like to see the place where it all started.
