Actually, to all the naysayers and those who just have no idea, Burning Man celebrates pure freedom and creativity more than any other event on the calendar. Ben Franklin would have made sure he had the super-coolest tricked-out RV on the desert.

FWIW it looks like there is a huge sandstorm on the Playa tonight. Can’t see most of the usual lights and I am wondering if the Man will burn or fall over.

It jumped the shark in 1995 when it first got above 1000 people. The first burning man was mostly people blowing krap up, and shooting 50 caliber tracer rounds
