Survivor: San Juan del Sur Blood vs. Water is the 29th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 24, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Unlike the first Blood vs. Water, there will be no Redemption Island. Redemption Island had been previously announced for this series, but was cancelled and replaced with a new twist before shooting was to begin.
It will be held in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same location as Survivor: Nicaragua and Survivor: Redemption Island.
Contestants include the controversial former major league baseball player, John Rocker; and twins, Natalie and Nadiya Anderson, who competed twice on The Amazing Race.
Coyopa Tribe (orange buffs): Alec, Baylor, Dale, Jaclyn, John, Josh, Keith, Nadiya, Val
Hunahpu Tribe (blue buffs): Drew, Jeremy, Jon, Julie, Kelley, Missy, Natalie, Reed, Wes

For those of you who are celebrating no more spit swapping between Josh and reed, a reminder:
Josh is on the jury and Reed could end up there too. If that happens, I’m sure we’ll get to see the happy reunion. :(
Oooooh, maybe they’ll announce their engagement!
Who were all those people at Ponderosa? The crew? Why do they need all those people there for just one contestant and why show them during filming? Josh is a big boy and can pour a glass of oj for himself. Hey, it’s still Survivor so survive on your own with a fully stocked fridge at Ponderosa.
Something was bugging me about Jon finding the II with such a vague clue so went searching. Low and behold - http://survivorsucks.com/topic/116954/Why-Cant-Females-find-Idols . Some seem to think the camera guy helped yet another contestant find the II. The girls still haven’t figured out why the guys keep sending their aliance dudes to Exile. Glancing through your recaps, nearly twice as many guys have gone to Exile as gals. IMO, the first two to go are usually who the tribes want to boot first so they’re the throw aways. Those sent after the first round, will be potential II holders you want on your side.
I can’t watch the last episode so maybe someone else can and report back their thoughts on Jon getting help. The video showed nothing but 20 minutes of commercials and then said I needed Flash. Uh, I have flash and clicking on their download for flash didn’t click so guessing CBS is taking a 3 day weekend off.
Ponderosa is not just for one person, it's for all the jury members who will eventually join Josh (hence the smoochy reunion between him and Reed that we may or may not get to see), and probably the finalists, and probably the previous bootees too.
They have a full crew there: cooks, housekeepers, medical staff (including a psychologist), el al.
Josh is the first juror but in his Ponderosa clip, there are lots of people roaming around the house. He didn’t acknowledge them when coming into the house and no one waved at the cameras or came rushing to hug him. It didn’t look like earlier bootees. I figured it was the crew but thought it weird they didn’t hide in another room during the filming.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)

I’ll be in my chair at 8:00PM.
Well that was interesting.
Reed tried to cause chaos but Missy, Baylor, Jon & Jac turned on Jeremy.
They remain a solid foursome - at least to next week.
What about Natalie? I think she should switch sides, join the mostly singles team, take out the evil four - then split Keith and Wes.
I would subscribe to cable TV and pay $49.95/episode to see these clowns above the tree line on Mount Washington overnight, any night after, let’s say, tonight. Or, for that matter, in any other genuine survival situation.
Reward challenge winner: Alec, Baylor, Jeremy, Natalie, Reed - but Natalie and Jeremy give up their reward spots to Jon and Jaclyn, respectively.
Immunity challenge winner: Baylor
Huyopa Tribe (merged tribe - turquoise buffs): Alec, Baylor, Jaclyn, Jon, Keith, Missy, Natalie, Reed, Wes
Jury: Jeremy, Josh
Eliminated: Dale, Drew, John, Julie (quit), Kelley, Nadiya, Val
Immunity Idol status: Jon and Keith each have an idol. Baylor, Jaclyn, and Natalie each have a clue.
Sent to Exile Island, but returned in time for Immunity Challenge: Jeremy

Well, Natalie knows the score now and who has the Idols.
Time for her to jump ship and be with the other singles and the Keith/Wes team - then take out the two pretty couples.
She has more brains for the game than Reed, Alec, Wes and Keith put together.
The booting of Jeremy was a surprise but just can’t seem to get excited about it either way. The more surprising element is the singles failed to grasp the power of couples having two votes. There are now 3 couples for 6 votes vs. only 3 singles. Natalie should see the writing on the wall and jump ship asap or she’s the next boot. If she does flip to Keith/Wes, Alec and Reed then they can pagone Missy/Baylor and Jaclyn/Jon. Of course, after that, Natalie will be on the bottom of the he-man totem pole followed next by a Reed boot leaving Keith/Wes with Alec as the goat. Keith wins.
She needs to flip and then take out Missy & Jaclyn.
Be a bit messy after that but she can then get Keith.
After that she could pull in any other two for a win at the final TC.
I know, I’ve been seeing clean hair, new manicures, on Exile Jeremy had clothes, I have seen what appear to be new sets of underwear! Not that I’d want to do it, but, they get water now and fire and food. . .
This Is Where We Build Trust (Sneak Peek)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
I think they are way past “building trust” at this point in the game - more like fooling the gullible.
