She is absolutely correct. Even the name RFK is offensive.

Ditka said the controversy over the Redskins name is "asinine" and "so stupid its appalling, and I hope that owner keeps fighting for it and never changes it, because the Redskins are part of an American football history, and it should never be anything but the Washington Redskins."

It would be amusing if Rush or someone else refused to say “Washington Redskins” and called the team exclusively “the Redskins’ NFL” to offset some who have decided to say “Washington’s NFL team.” The reasoning being that “Washington” is offensive.

The name Washington for this District of Corruption cesspool is an insult to George Washington.

Actually, I am offended that the great name of "Washington" is used in connection with bad politics.
That must make the left really chuckle.
But then again, the demoncraps have to fly into "Reagan" on their way to their job.

Ditka should shut the hell up. He was offered the chance to go against Obummer for Senator but was too busy. All this could have been avoided if he had pulled on the helmet instead of staying out of the game!
