It would be amusing if Rush or someone else refused to say “Washington Redskins” and called the team exclusively “the Redskins’ NFL” to offset some who have decided to say “Washington’s NFL team.” The reasoning being that “Washington” is offensive.

Years ago Washington had an NBA team called the Washington Bullets. They changed their name because they thought their name reflected violence. Paul Harvey at the time suggested they change the name Washington not Bullets.
